I have received a letter from the war Office the 22^nd March, and also letters from Colonel Gamble, and shall be ready to take up your accounts immediately

Being empowered by Col^l Gamble to settle his demand I am ready to receive Cattle in part for the debt you owe him and am your Hum^b Serv^t

I received your letter of March, and would advise You to rest contented with such a part of the Ground as the Indians shall allott to you for Cultivation, and continue in the service with another Agent or some other person- Authorized will direct the Indian affairs, your Daughter and Son is well
