After ten days sight of this my first Bill of Exchange, second of like tenor and date unpaid; pay James & William Park or their order one thousand dollars it being for value received of them in specie, and is to be appropriated to the paying of the Regular troops in Tennessee under Lieu^t Colonel Butler July, August and September for which sum I hold myself accountable as per advice of the same.
