Omit War Department 27 ^th Ap ^l 1798 Sir, Cap.^t Thomas Cole being appointed to take charge of the Navy Yard at Baltimore and the Articles contained therein belonging to the Public, which are in your keeping. You will therefore be pleased to deliver to him the said Property, and take his Duplicate Receipts for the same, one of which you are requested to transmit to this Office, with a correct list of the Articles so delivered. ---
