West Point - May 4 th 1787 14 Sir I read your letter of 24 th and [undecipherable] Butter & Oil by M Ketcham --- The Bearer M r D [undecipherable] will deliver you the ret [undecipherable] of ordnance and Quarter Masters Stores for the Month of April, 1787 -- Enclosed is and Account of the Stores sold to James Naiviro to the Amount of Sixty One [undecipherable] or [undecipherable] ; Agreeable to your letter of March 16 th 1787 -- James [undecipherable] the Honorable Major Gen l Knox Secretary of War --
West Pointe May 4 th 1787 Sire I rece d your letter of March 17 th and the Secretary of [scratch] Wars order for the twelve lot of horse harness, which you will receive by the Bearer -- as followes -- (Viz) 12 Collars -- 12 [undecipherable] Harness -- 4 Cartfactilles -- 4 Breech Barrel -- 8 [undecipherable] of Artillery [undecipherable] chains -- and 12 [undecipherable] you will please to acknowledge the rec of them, and pay to the Bearer for the [undecipherable] I am for Major Moodie C [undecipherable] for State of New York ---
