I of which that Office will be informed. I also hand you a letter from James Maddock inclosing another for his son with a request that is may be forward-
ed to him _ as you may probably know or obtain from Masters in your [profession?] information on the subject, may I ask the favor of you to write to the father the fate of his [form?]

to Caleb [Swan?] Esqr. Pay master General residing at Philadelphia from whom you will receive such information on the [subject?] as he can obtain from the muster Rolls in his Office
