to acknowledge the receipt of your letter dated the 21 Inst. . The hurry of business preparatory to removing the Office from Philada. to this place may have occasioned the delay in answering your letter dated 27 April.--- I have to inform you that they are finally set and the balance paid him a considerable time since:- In which accounts he has been paid for the Rations overdrawn by you, & due to be deducted from your pay by the Pay-master. Your rations
