I certify that there is due to Ensign Samuel Parmele the sum of eighty six Dollars & ninety four cents being for balance of this account for subsistence up to 31st December 97 inclusive for recruiting & for incidental & Contingent Expenses, which sum is to be transmitted to John Chester Supervisor at Wethersfields to be by him paid to the said Ensign Parmele.
