                                     I received your letter of the 24th [undecipherable], William Allens Pay has been made up from the 1 Sept. 1796/ the time he was last ^paid^ to/ to the 28th Feb. 1797 - inclusive, being six months and the amount twenty four Dollars has been paid to your Brother the H[undecipherable] WM Lyman, who is to transmit the said Williams Allens Receipt for the same to this office -
