The 30th March 1796 I have received which has been examined and found to be right surrounding to three thousand two hundred twenty two dollars and twenty four cents including the subsistence of this officers for February and March which sums you will receive from —- and for which you will give him certificate receipts to be accountable. The subsistence of Wadeworthy’s has—- been conducted from the abstract.

Sir, The treasurer of the will, remit you the sum of three thousand two hundred twenty six dollars and seventy four cents which to

              National Treasurer
                           being for the pay subsistence, and storage

of the artillerists and engineers stationed at West Point to 30 Mar 1796 for which he will sign certificate receipts to be accountable for this and appreciation thereof you will also receive the further sum of one hundred fifty eight dollars and seventy cents being the amount of your account for commissions or receiving and paying

forms of money from this Department between the 29 Sept 1795 // 17 Mar 1796 — for which please forward your receipt—
