Your letter of the [illegible] instant being come to hand & the accounts referred to is the same hand attended to by us I am at a loss without further information what con duct to pursue that will to justice do the [iillegible] and not at the same time open a door for claims which may never cease. A question naturally here occurs, why this demand was not made before, & low the soldiers pay is long wanted by [illegible] officer dues? But is subject tot hte accmount itself, it appears to be in general with
