Sir

    Inclosed I beg leave to present you with

the Receipt Roll that you transmitted to me having paid all the men that were included therein except those that Deserted some time ago & one Sergt who is with Lieut. Trigg in consequence of which the sum of thirty one Dolls. & sixty two Cents. yet remain in my Hands & shall be disposed of as you may direct-- I remain your Most Obt Svt John Posey Lieut D D 116.99
