Philadelphia --January 29th 1790 Sir Yours dated Decembr [illegible] last - inclosing a Cirtificate No. 95.029 dated the 30th of November last for the sum of one Hundred & Fifty Dollars bearing Interest from 4th of November 1783 [illegible] in favour of Charles Stoakly being for so much advanced by him to Col. Geo. Matthews of the [crossed out word: state] [crossed out words] Virginia with said cirtificate -- [illegible] received yours Dated 16th Instant should have informed you first before this time. but have been from home on a little tour [?] through my old native place that Little Sister Delanvanstate [?] I am fine your Humble servt James Moore
