The commissioner of army accounts upon the petition of Capt. C. Nathaniel Fox referred to him by the secretary at war respectfully reports that it appears from the musters of the late Virginia line that Capt. Fox of the 6th regiment was deranged on the 30th September 1778 without mention of it's being in consequence of disability occasioned by wounds received in the service of the United states but from the respectable certificate which accompanies the petition the commissioner is inclined to believe that to have been the fact-- if this is admitted the petitioner will then have just pretentions to all the benefits of the
