 I have this day issued my Warrant on the Treasurer of the United States directing ninety six Dollars & eighty three Cents to be remitted to you[illegible] Fellico Factory Account agreeably to your Letter of the 11th instant.

Sam Hodgson War Department 25th Nov. 1800 Sir Please to deliver to the Order of the Secretary of the Navy from the Military Stores at Springfield Massachusetts one hundred Barrels of Cannon Powder on Loan. I am Sir V


Sam Hodgson War Department 24th November 1800 Sir I have received yours of the 19th instant. I doubt wheth it is for the Public interest to purchaseMr Cranch's Mill and Tools, bu will decide when I see an inventory of them with their prices and recei sufficient information concerning the State of them. Perhaps he has an equitable claim binding the United States to make the purchase. If so please to inform me. I have also received your favor respecting Jn. Williams. If he is in distress let him have the fifty dollars. There is no appropriation for Educating Indians and his son canno be provided for. I am Sir V P.S. you will please to Consider the returns for the reserved Corps, Detroit & Niagara as [illegible] distinct.
