Jeremiah Shannon and James McPheders, surgeons, certify that they have examined the said Nathan Rawlings and are of the opinion that by reason of a ball penetrating the left ischium, and fracturing it, he is entitled to a compensation equal to one half of that allowed for the highest disability. Wherefore, he is entitled to receive an annual compensation of the rate of ten dollars per month during the continuance of his disability aforesaid, of which he is to produce every six months a certificate of two respectable physicians on oath: said pension to commence on the twenty seventh day of October 1794, to which time he received pay.
