Description
Treasurer of United States will remit $500.00 to Jackson. Simmons requested Jackson use sum to pay Mr. George Claghorn, constructor of the Frigate Constitution. Pay is compensation for July through September. Treasurer will further remit $187.50 to Jackson for pay of Mr. Caleb Gibbs, clerk of the Navy Yard at Boston. Salary is compensation for July through September.
