Enclosed is a receipt of John Habersham, dated December 31, 1796, for $90 applied by him to defray the incidental and contingent expenses of the War Department in Georgia during the last quarter of 1796. This receipt is to be annexed to a warrant on the Treasury in favor of said Habersham who is to be charged and held accountable for same on Simmons' books.
