Copy of letter from lieutenant colonel delassus, of his colonial majesty service, 2 Major General Wayne, USA, advising him that he has acquainted lieutenant Taylor with the order received from the governor general of the province of Louisiana, respecting the treaty between the United States and England. Incloses copy of his orders to lieutenant Taylor respecting the movement of commissioners going down the Mississippi River to fix the boundary lines, and the troops which are to accompany them. their movements must not be interfered with; The troops are also to take possession of the ports, etc., under the orders of general Wayne, when convenient to so do.
