The bearer, Mr Herbert, is an exprefs express who a few days ago brought dispatches from Governor Bla?? and Col Henly, to this office. He is preparing to return to Knoxville. His horfe horse (public property) is fick sick with the distemper. The Secretary of War requests that you will receive the horfe horse from Mr. Herbert, and fend send him out to pafture pasture; or make fuch such arrangements as you think proper, to recruit him.

Pleafe please alfo also to furnish a good faddle saddle horfe horse for Mr. Herbert to perform the journey from hence to Knoxville.
