Memorandum that we whose names are here into subscribed do covenant promise and agree with each other to use our separate and joint interests in obtaining a right of preemption for the lands mentioned in a book known by the title of Carvers Travels and where he mentions having seen vast quantities of virgin copper and we further covenant with each other that we will become equally concerned in this the above undertaking both in profit and loss
