The agent at Trenton and the Contractors at Philadelphia, Reading, and Lancaster will supply most of the provisions needed to get to Carlisle.For the route westward it should be ascertained whether the Contractors at Reading and Lancaster are capable of provisioning the expedition. Williams is directed to make up for any deficiencies.
