I wrote you in May 93 on the subject of Indian affairs - [?} you have the goodness to look over my communication s - I am persuaded you will find some suggestion which will [appear?] to the Georgia State of [?} - I again suggest the policy of collecting all troops acting upon Federal authority, and forming a camp in a situation which will hold the Indians in check - The posts on the frontier may be accompanied by militia - this will gain time for the army in the west to complete its operations - I entreat you to do something to prevent further [confusion?] - and I [??] interest you to send an official of rank and capacity to take charge of the affairs of the [?] in the South - your commander has most ignored
