131 the enclosures I have received. I am pleased there was no necefsity [necessity] of sending the noted to Headquarters. Agreeably to your request I have enclosed a certificate of the time that Andrew MCleary (Dragoon in Capt. Bowyers ?) was paid to a copy of which or the original you will please to give Lieut. Smoth (if not gone) to be by him presented to W. Swan.

Major Isaac Craig, I certify that Andrew MCleary of Capt. Bowyers troop of Dragoons, has been paid in this Office to the 31st December 1793, and no longer.
