I have the honor to transmit to you a list of the Invalid Pensioners for the State of Massachusetts, with my warrant thereon, for the payment of their annual pension, commencing the fifth of March last, and ending the fourth of September next inclusively.

The Secretary of the Treasury will forward you with the necessary funds to pay said Invalids.

You will be pleased to observe that the Invalids returned as Examined by the Circuit Courts are not included, as the Supreme Court of the United States have not made the adjudi- cation required by the Law passed on the 28th of February last, without such no payment can be made to them. I have caused advertisements to be inserted in all the public papers, that the payments will be made by the Commissioners of Loans for the respective States, on the fifth of September next.
