particularly directed me to inform you that the proposed treaty with the hostile Indians north of the Ohio will be held at Lower Sandusky, about the first of June next
during continuance of the treaty
highest importance to the success thereof
safety of the commissioners
all hostile incursions of the white inhabitants into or near to the Indian country north of the Ohio should be absolutely prohibited until after the treaty be closed
commanding general
troops
directed to issue a proclamation to this effect
would be pleased to take such measures the premises
frontier citizens
be most effectual
prevent a measure which might be attended with
consequences.
