Secretary of Treasury forwards letter from Mr Miller, inspector of clothing, regarding the necessity of certain precautions for the preservation of hats. Miller is concerned about the lack of storage facilities for the 1500 hats; that they are liable to moth damage. He recommends that they be packed in cases or dry casks.
