Sir,

Since sending you on the 6th instant, I have received by express the information contained in the enclosed copy of a deposition of Henry Carrel dated the 6th Instant together * with what is containedin the Extract (also enclosed) of a letter from General Twiggs, both of which are on the subject of recent depredations by Creek Indians.
