Accountants Office February 27 1801

I Certify that there is due to Ephraim Curtis of Charlestown N. H. the sum of one hundred sixty three dollars & cent being a balance for Quarter Master & Hospital supplied & expenditures for the Recruits of the 16th Regt of said place given Sept. to 31 December 1799 including his compensation as acting Commission which sum is payable to [undecipherable] R Harris Gorden Dolls. 163.1 W.S. March 2 1801 I Certify that there is due to Maj. Thomas K. Cushing the sum of three hundred seventy dollars being amount of his account of expenses of himself & Servant while detained at the Seat of Government by the Secy. of War on extra service from 3rd Sept. 1800 to the 1st March 1802 Dolls. 378.
