I certify that there is due to Ensign Samuel Parmele the sum of eighty six Dollars (unintelligible) ninety four cents being for balance of this account for subsistence up to 31st December 97 inclusive for recruiting & for incidental & Contingent Expenses, which sum is to be transmitted to John Chester Supervisor at Wethersfields to be by him paid to the said Ensign Parmele.
