I do declare to whom it may concern that this day having examined Robert Cosby of Blount County Stat. of Tennessee it appears he has been shot, few years past, through the thigh above the external & internal Condyles & between the [undecipherable] femor's & tendons, which Shot, having destroyed Several important [undecipherable] and membranous parts, deprives him nearly of the use of his leg.
