West Point, Nov,, 30.th 1795

Sir, Your favor of the 21[undecipherable] instant I duly received. The five thousand dol=lars I received this day by Capt. Bruff, I receipted to him for them. I should have forwarded you before now a large packet of vouchers, had I not received the 20[undecipherable] instant a letter from Major Hodgdon, in which he desires me to immediately go on with the inspection of the ordnance & military stores here, & furnish him with an accurate return of them, adding, nothing is of equal [undecipherable - consequence?] with the return, that I must attend myself in preference to any other duties. [flourish]

I am, Sir, Your most obed. Humble servant, Geo. Fleming [flourish]
