Your favor of yesterdays date has just come to hand, inclosing a draft for 3950.28/100 Dollars and thank you for your punctuality in remitting, as I put great dependence thereon ----

I have written to My friend at Albany respecting the business of having a magazine cxrctccr there for acct the United States, hi has given [undecipherable] satisfactory information as yet on the Subject, but days, [undecipherable] a service of Governer might be obtain'd from the Corporation, about a mile from the City for that purpose, I expect to [undecipherable] a line from him in the Course of a few days, and hope I shall thru be able to affor'd you something
