Fredericksburgh Virginia - August 18"th 1795

Sir

I this Day recd. yours of the 10"th [undecipherable] & found nothing inclosed but the Muster Roll, which I have made oath to a second time as being a true statement of my Detachment at the time they were mustered & also hav got the signature of the magistrate as a witness thereto - as the PayRolls were not in closed in you & I am some what a a loss in what manner , & to what time they must be made out & also whether I must in clude my self & the soldier that I brought with me from the army whom I hav since (I commenced Recruiting) promoted [undecipherable], I sha wait until I can receive an answer from you on the subject & tell them
