After I had explained the same I asked them if they understood it
the sachems & chiefs of the Seneka nation answered that the whole was well understood. All the sachems and chiefs whose names appear in my handwriting being the fifteen whose names are satisfied in the right hand column and one in the left hand column save that the Chief Sa-ne-aich-do-won only signed and sealed the instrument in my presence.
