Your favour of the 26 nov. to the care of Col. Autry was not delivered me till 3 of this month and yours of the 9th Nov. on the 28th ult. The duplicate of the first I had missed earlier and immediately sent by Lieut Saxon[?] son[?] of the military gentleman under the command of Col. G[---] and passing thro' here[?] this command orders to Col.[?] Mitchell to remove to the Chikcasaws, [--?] had p[---]s by removed to the six towns and was progressin[g to]wards here if approved of [---ing] at the same time a wish to be paid among the Chickasaws as a plan where his exertions would be more useful.

Our [----s] and Chiefs are mostly in the woods and probably wish us [--?] home till some time in April. The the meeting of the national [----] must mistake[?] me for [---?] Harjo the speaker for the nation any intention to [---] them on the 20th of that month. Between [---] and them and at the general meeting I shall [nis] on the subject of the 9th [---] and carry your orders into effect in relation thereto with the least possible delay.

I have just recd the information from the Seminoles "a man who calls himself Docr Foster is arrived from Jamaica and invites more chiefs of the Seminoles and of the agency to accom- pany him to their nation. He could give the talk now but he is appre- hensive he would not be safe in doing it. The Traders of the Creek agency are without Licence th-- grants by Mr. P--- as pro[?] agent of War are expired. By my authority the agent of war is to grant them, as such character has appeared on our frontier.
