I have received your accounts for payments from 1 Nov.r to 31 Jan.r, & delivered the deed as you requested to the Sec.r of War_ As all the records of his Office have been consumed it will be necessary that you should forward to this Office the authority on which you made the purchase of the Land which is necessary as a voucher for admitting the amount__
