Sir Under the cercumstances mentioned in your letter of the 24th instant proably the accountant can dispence with the ori- ginal vouchers requested by him. Copies however must be furnish- ed as expeditiously as possible and every means afforded him ot being satisfied they are correct copies. As to the expence of this the public must pay it
