West=Point Oct 13th 1800-- Sir:
As I intend leaving this place this fall -- and the season presses[?] -- must beg you to give me an immediate answer to the following queries -- will the publick give me a reasonable price for a horse=mill which I erected for grinding and polishing payments? Gun? furniture etc. -- also the window glaze in the shop 2 pair of Smiths anvils 2 good anvils and 12 large vices and a great number of small tools. You will please to inform me if my account is to be forwarded to you or the accountant an immediate answer will oblige your humble servant
