     I have received your letter of the 20th instant. In closing $600 in cash no post note on account of the army Armory line the same being past to your credit where our money accounts to this way new in turning the powder lately in the magazine many of the casques are found damaged line shall I procure as many new ones as are necessary left margin stamp received from state Department. New it gives me pain to trouble you again relative to one of our horses line who is reported to me by the superintendent, as being unfit for the services of the blank works line in my opinion he had better be told at any rate, and another purchased line if you are of the same opinion. I wish for your directions weather too dispose of him at public auction, or at private sale line or sacrifice, undoubtedly, must be made but, at present, he is of little use line.
