Rich, S Blackburn [undecipherable] Accountants Office May 24" 1800 Sir You stand charged on the books of this office with three hundred seventy two Dollars & 48/100, two hundred Dollars of which was placed in your hands on account of the Recruiting Service - & receipt dated 21 aug. 1798, the balance remaining out of monies placed in your hands for the pay of the Troops stationd at Fort Sorfolk, from 1 april to 31 July 1798 ~ I request you will immeditately forward your account wit the necessary vouchers in order that the amount paid by you may be passed to your credit, & the balance (if any remains) you will please refund to the Treasurer of the U.
