188 Accountants' Office April 21st 1800 I Certify that there is due to James Reed captain in the 11th Regt. of Infantry, the sum of three hundred & fifty dollars & 71/100, being amount of his account for Rations & Quarter Master & Hospital Stores furnishes by him to the Recruits under his command _from the 4th June 1799 to 4 April 1800, &for expences marching said Recruits to Union Camp in the State of New Jersey __ W. Simmons Rules of the Armey $180.16 Quarter Master Department. 111.12 Incidental & Cont. & expences. 55.91 Hospital Department 3.52 Dollars 350. 71 The Secretary of War ___________________________________________________________________ April 22nd 1800 I Certify that there is due to John Wilkins [undecipherable] and James Miller, the sum of Two thousand eight hundred and twenty nine dollars & 16/100, being the amount of sundry purchases and expenditures made by them for the armory at Harpers Ferry in Virginia the armory at Springfield in Massachusetts, and in the ordnances, Quarter Master & Hospital Departments which sum is payable to James Miller the agent for John Wilkins [undecipherable]: settled in presence to the special request of the Secretary of War __W.S.
