187 Accountants Office April 17th, 1800 I certify that there is due to William Carter Sergeant of the 11th Regt. & Infantry the sum of four dollars & seventy five cents being for expenses incurred by him in marching of Recruits from Philadelphia to Head Quarters on the Scotch Plains agreeably to the order of Lt. John Caldwell which sum is payable to the said Lt. Caldwell being so much advanced by him to the said Carter _ W.S.
