New York 13 April 1800 Samuel Hodgson Esqr Sir Genl Hamilton is to take the field on Monday next, his first rendezvous will be at Union Camp, Scotch plains, he is want of his marquee, and the Adjutant Genl. will likewise want one for an office and [undecipherable] dation of his family in suit-- You will please to mention to W. Miller to furnish Genl Hamilton with a Baggage Wagon, and let it be forwarded without delay, the Marquee may come with it __ I hope there will not be any delay __ I have to bequest you to send over four Horseman tents, twenty eight command tents__ with poles complete __they are wanted for Capt.
