Sir Herewith I hand you a letter received from Capt. Amos Stoddard, inclosing a receipt Roll for pay of himself & Company, for the months of May, June & July 1799 — I have informed that Officer of my referring the same to you —

Sir I have received your letter dated the 21 Inst. inclosing a receipt Roll for pay of yourself & Company for the months of May, June & July 1799 which has been handed to Caleb Swan Esqr Pay Master General for examination & adjustment to whom all your future transmissions of Army Accounts are to be made ~
