Accountant's Office Sept. 23, 1799

Lieut. Meriwether Lewis Staunton, Va. Sir: Inclosed [sic] is my letter of the 22 March Ult. addressed to you at Kimpsville Rendezo, Virginia which has been returned to this office owing as I resume to your having removed from the neighborhood & which I now forward to you at Staunton to the care of C. Gibson, I am etc. W.L.
