War department July 24th 1799

Sir 

    Be pleased to deliver to John Wilkins junior Esquire quartermaster general infantry clothing for five sergeants 3 corporals and 60 privates to be transported to Presque Isle for the use of the troops under the command of captain Cornelius Lyman also the same quantity of suits to be transported to Fort Washington for the company under the command of captain Miller. The late uniform clothing now in store to be made use of to comply with the order.
