Sir, On farther examination it appears that the Box containing 25 Arms to the address of Major Peter Hunt at Trenton to be forwarded by him to Ensign Boote, which went to Burlington in the Jaims Boat with the Pattern Arms has been sent to you instead of the Arms intended and I am now informed that the Proprietors have discovered the mistake, that the Pattern Arms were safe and would be delivered you on Saturday last. How, it was possible such a mistake did happen I cannot conceive, for both Boxes the Store Keeper informs me were distincly marked to their respective addresses , it is an unfortunate affair.
