    As soon as convenient after the receipt of this letter be pleased

to send two of the English eight inch Howitzers, with everything belong-

in to them to. New York to the address of Colonel Stevens-I presume
 +
they are compleatly [sic] mounted, and furnished with implements-
 +
but if that is not the case send what you have, and the deficiency must
 +
be made up in York. I have again called the attention of the Ac-
 +
countant to the adjustment of your account and he is engaged in
 +
it- You will please to enclose me an order on him for whatever
 +
balance may be found, due to you, this I shall receive and pass to
 +
your Credit in my Books, after which I will send you a statement
 +
of the whole business--
