Lancaster 12th. January 1797. Received of Francis Mentges a sorrel Horse about fourteen hands high, white face. A Roan Horse about fourteen hands high one white foot and a Bay Horse about thirteen hands high for which three horses I am accountable to the indian department. (signed) James Casey.
