Sir, The Treasurer will remit you the sum of seventy dollars and sixty seven cents for pay due Ensign David Thompson from the 15th of June to the 30th of September 1794, inclusive - Also the further sum of five hundred dollars for the use of the recruiting service for which he is to be accountable which sums you will please transmit to Ensign David Thompson at Winchester Virginia taking his receipts accordingly.
